An antiques tour

A new regional tourist map for antique and second-hand dealers was announced at the launching of the tourist season on June 7th 2017.

The initiator of the project, antique dealer Micheline Lebel, broke the news to the media and tourism representatives of the region.

Town of Brome Lake is full of tourist attractions, but more than the beautiful lake, the region is attracting more and more antique and “vintage” object hunters. “We count no less than 13 shops specializing in antiques in this region, and one glass-blowing shop where an artist glassblower is transforming bottles into lamps and utilitarian objects” confides Mrs. Lebel.

She decided to create a map with a circuit to help visitors find the object or perfect piece of furniture for their decor. Tourism Lac-Brome liked the idea and decided to share the costs and do the promotion, because there is a chance that this new tourist circuit will become an interesting economic drawing card for the region.

The Antiques circuit map is available in many businesses, restaurants and at Brome Lake Tourist Office, 696-A Lakeside.

This summer, go and discover the Antique dealers circuit … with the map.
