Arts and Culture: July/August 2017

From June 30 to July 5, Jeanne Marler is having an art exhibition From La Tuque to the Townships at Espace England Hill, 104 Lakeside Road, Knowlton 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily.

The pre-launch of Louise Penny’s 13th book Glass Houses will be held on Saturday August 26th at 2 p.m. under the big tent in the Coldbrook Park. The seats under the tent are all sold out but if the weather is good you are welcome to come by and listen from the picnic tables or have a seat on the lawn. Following the presentation Louise will be signing books and meeting fans.

Hors-Cadre in collaboration with the Canada Day Committee at Lac-Brome, invites you to meet artists who will paint at the Lions Park from 4 to 7:30 pm. Come complete the giant mandala from 3 p.m. with the artist Ginette Richard. Bring what inspires you… no limit to creativity for pleasure.
