The Yamaska Valley Optimist Club, as it has for many years, is working to “Bring out the Best in Kids” with its Angel program. By working with local  schools and community outreach programs, it is hoping to give gifts to 220 recipients. Angels can be picked up in Knowlton at: Barnes Home Hardware, De la Ferme à la Table, Depanneur Rouge, Giant Tiger and Nettoyeur Houle in Cowansville and Pharmacie Brunet in Sutton. Those interested in giving a gift to someone less fortunate should go to one of the above retailers and chose a paper angel.

These angels have all the information: age, gender, interests and clothing sizes needed to choose a personalized gift.

The gift givers then purchase a gift of return it to the retailer, with the paper at the latest by Sunday, December 10.

These gifts will then be distributed Optimist Club to the lucky recipients. please call Debbie at 450-243-4224.
