There is still quite a bit of confusion over what should go into the new composting bins that are being added to our collection of garbage receptacles.

To help clear the confusion,a special information session will take place at Centre Lac-Brome on Tuesday, December 4 at 7 p.m. The session will be held in English.

The MRC held three similar sessions in October and all attracted large crowds.

If you answer yes to these three questions, then you can put it in the brown bins:

• Is it edible?
• Is it soiled unwaxed paper or carton?
• Is it garden residue ?

In TBL, the brown bin collection is expected to start in January, but it has already started in West Bolton and Brome Village.
