Evacuation notice – West Bolton, April 25, 2019

Due to the dangers of deforming a section of Paramount Road during this thaw period, municipal authorities recommend that people in the following areas, for their safety, evacuate as of April 25, 2019.

Abundant precipitation expected by Saturday may make the section of Paramount Road between Glenview Road and Tower Road unfit for traffic, including SUVs and emergency vehicles. This notice is in effect for all streets in the Mount Foster area, including: – Paramount (North of Glenview), de la Tour, des Hauteurs, des Appalaches, Gauvin, Laporte, Crow Hill, du Vallon and Dumouchel as well as the Mount Gauvin area in Saint-Étienne-de-Bolton.

What you need to do : If you are in one of the affected areas, please follow these instructions : Leave your home by bringing your medications and important personal belongings.
