The Knowlton Lions Club would like to take this time to thank and honour our veterans who so gallantly served our country during wars from WW1 to recently Afghanistan. We also thank the men and women who served during peace time. We, as a nation, are lucky to have these people step forward to serve in the different services – the Army, Navy and Air Force of the Canadian military – both at home and overseas.
They also help during natural disasters at home. So, this Remembrance Day November 11, take a moment to think and thank all the men and women who have served and died for us.
Many men and women from Brome County have served and given their lives. Again, the Knowlton Lions Club thanks you whether you have served in the past, or are now part of today’s military forces.
N.B. Due to COVID 19 The Knowlton Lions Club regrets we have to cancel, for this year, our annual Remembrance Day Breakfast at the Knowlton Academy. We look forward to serving you again in November 2021.
