This year, thanks to the Yamaska Valley Optimist Club, you can still be a Christmas Angel. Despite the pandemic, this project was modified and proved to be very successful in 2020. This year, the new procedures will be built on and this wonderful tradition will continue thanks to participating merchants and you, the Christmas Angels. Paper angels will be ready for claiming in the following stores as of Friday, November 5:
• Knowlton: Barnes Store (Home Hardware) Dépanneur Rouge, La Touche Finale and Le Panier Champêtre
• Cowansville: Giant Tiger and Nettoyeur Houle
• Sutton: Pharmacie Brunet
The paper angels will indicate the gender, age, interests and clothing size of the individual for whom you will be purchasing the gift. The type of gift and the amount you spend is completely at your discretion and will be greatly appreciated. After you have purchased your gift, wrap it and attach the paper angel using a single strip of tape so it can be easily removed. The gift should then be returned to the retailer where you registered no later than Sunday, December 5. The Yamaska Valley Optimist Club will deliver the gifts before Christmas to the lucky young people.
