Goal surpassed at Cancer Walk

The Cancer Walk surpassed its goal by raising $102,210 for the Brome-Mississquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation. The campaign organized by the Yamaska Valley Optimist Club ran from October 3 to November 3.  “We would like to acknowledge the exceptional mobilization of the Brome-Mississquoi community,” said Francis Laramée, executive director of the BMP Foundation. One hundred per cent of the funds will be used to buy specialized medical equipment for the treatment of cancer patients.
