Theatre Lac-Brome has a new artistic director, Anne Dubé, and at the same time the theatre says it will re-open on March 1st.
“Ms. Dubé has more than 20 years’ experience in the performing arts in Quebec. Until recently, she was executive and artistic director of the fabled Theatre Petit Champlain in Quebec City. She has also sat on several music industry juries and has programmed many renowned French and English speaking artists,” said Theatre Lac-Brome in a release.
“Fluently bilingual, Ms. Dubé also has extensive knowledge of performing arts networks as well as vast experience in management and fundraising. Upon her arrival, she will be responsible for building a diversified program, in both English and French, focused on theatre, music and other performing arts.”
After a long COVID closure, the theatre welcomes the relaxation of the health measures by the Quebec government, allowing it to re-open in March.
