At a time when unemployment is historically low and it is difficult to find staff, what better way to solve the problem than employing a robot. This is exactly what Jean-Marc Bélanger of Uniprix has done. His robot is a highly precise and speedy pill counter which leaves the pharmacy staff with more time for personal customer service and less repetitive tasks. The first pharmacy in Estrie and the 13th in Quebec to acquire such a robot, Knowlton’s Uniprix managed to keep operating in spite of the enormity of installing the machine and renovating the pharmacy area. Having travelled across the Atlantic from the Netherlands, Helen-o-tronic 4000, the name designated to the new machine, is settling into her new home
