The Pitous’ Ensemble canine day is back for a fourth edition with the theme Dogs at Work. This event will take place at Terrio Park in East Bolton on Sunday July 3 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Simon Gadbois, Ph. D., internationally renowned ethologist and professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax will present a lecture entitled The Dog’s Nose: Medical Assistance and Wildlife Conservation. Leski Foundation will do a presentation on the work of training and pairing service dogs. AJ Top Retriever’s Alain Jetté will give a presentation on the characteristics and training of game retrieving dogs as well as a demonstration.
