On Monday, May 30th, Ecole St-Édouard unveiled its new library to the members of CARKE who donated $15,000 to the project. With the funds, the school was able to entirely revamp the library from new flooring and paint to new shelving and modular furniture. With a smart board and some creative design, the library also doubles as a much-needed extra class space. With 4,000 books, there are plans to double the number of books available. The space went from a tired, uninspiring place without seating, to a fantastic, open, flexible space that the students are very excited about using. Knowlton Academy also received the same generous donation from CARKE and revamped the cafeteria kitchen with the funds.
