Your opportunity to be a Christmas angel

Susan Jacques

The Yamaska Valley Optimist Club is encouraged by the enthusiasm shown in previous years and is excited to once again be involved with making the dreams of certain children in need come true.

The paper angels will indicate the gender, age, interests and clothing size of the person for whom you will be purchasing the gift. The type of gift and the amount you spend is completely at your discretion and will be greatly appreciated.

Paper angels will be ready for claiming in the following stores as of the weekend of November 11:

Knowlton: Barnes Store (Home Hardware)

Dépanneur Rouge (Place Knowlton)

La Touche Finale

Le Panier Champêtre

Cowansville: Giant Tiger & Nettoyeur Houle

Sutton : Pharmacie Brunet

After you have purchased your gift, wrap it and attach the paper angel using a single strip of tape so it can be easily removed. The gift should then be returned to the retailer where you registered no later than Sunday, December 5.

Members of the Yamaska Valley Optimist Club will sort and deliver the gifts before Christmas to the lucky young people. For further information, please call Darlene at: 450-266-7789.

Being a Christmas Angel is making someone’s dream come true.
