The Halte Festival

By Robert Paterson

Do you enjoy “outdoor life”? Do you love to RV, camp, van, bike, eat outdoors, hike, or canoe?  Do you enjoy the company of those who share your passion? If you do, then the Halte Festival, to be held at the Brome Fair Campground on the May holiday weekend May 19-22, is for you.  The Brome Fairground and the Faire Valoir organization have designed a four-day festival with camping available. There will be workshops, products to see and buy, food (five food trucks), and a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

Friday: site opening at 3 p.m. for festival-goers sleeping on site.

Saturday & Sunday: site opening from 9:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Monday: Site open only to festival-goers sleeping on site.

A four-day pass costs $40, and a three-night camping pass is $60 for a tent and $90 for an RV or a van. Children under 12 are free.
