Thanks to the involvement of some 60 residents who care for the environment, 87 kms of roads (174 kms of ditches) have been cleared of the waste that litters the ditches. The volunteers worked hard for 10 days to accomplish this task.
The spring cleaning edition 2020 was a great success while respecting social distancing. It is estimated that approximately 230 large garbage bags have been filled.
And a contribution from the Town of Brome Lake enabled ten participants to win a gift certificate worth $100 to be spent at local merchants.
