Musical Entertainment hosted by Dr. Henry Schreiber, a benefit event for Brome-Missisquoi Youth Foundation on Sunday May 28 at 7 p.m. at Theatre Lac Brome. Cost is $15. Featured will be music with a French accent. Pianist Lang Lang will perform one of Chopin’s brilliant Scherzos; excerpts from Ravel’s score for Daphnis and Chloe will feature the Berlin Philharmonic, and the operatic content will offer excerpts from Saint-Saëns’ Samson and Dalila, with principals Shirley Verrett and Placido Domingo.

Pot Pourri Choir Spring Concert on May 6 at 7 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church 19, rue Maple, Stanbridge East and May 7 at 3 p.m. at St. Michael’s in the Glen, 91 Glen Road, West Bolton. An all-Canadian program in recognition of the 150th anniversary of Confederation. Tickets $10 at the door. The beneficiaries are Association Garagona, a camp for people of all ages with mental disabilities and Horizon pour Elle a refuge for abused women and children.

Knowlton Harmony Band will present its spring concert on May 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Knowlton United Church. Donations at the door. Musical selections from the classics and Broadway.
