Students in grades 1 through 6 in local schools should start to get their creative juices flowing as they are eligible to enter the Brome Bright Lights Short Story Contest. Stories must be works of the imagination (not true stories) and be between 100 and 800 words in length.

One prize of $50 will be awarded to the best story in each grade level, a $25 runner up prize in each level, and an additional $200 Grand Prize for the best story overall.
