Nancy Pagé
Louis Pagé celebrated his 100th birthday Thursday, February 22.
An afternoon get-together was held at Place Knowlton, hosted by Gary and Bev Crandall. Many of his friends and family arrived to honour him on his special day. Louis bought his father’s business, Smith Printing, on the corner of Knowlton Road and chemin du Mont Echo, where he worked until retiring in the 1980s. He was married to Eleanor and has a son, Eric (Ricky). Mr. Pagé still delivers Meals on Wheels occasionally for Wellness Lac Brome and he keeps track of all donations for the Lac-Brome Food Bank. Last year the Townshippers Association awarded Louis with the ‘Outstanding Townshipper Award’ for his many years of volunteer work in the Town of Brome Lake. Tempo wishes Mr. Pagé a very happy birthday and a healthy, happy year ahead.
