The Brome Lake Theatre has a new Executive and Artistic Director. Pierre-David Rodrigue, formerly head of La Dance sur les Routes du Quebec, started in his new role on March 4.
Rodrigue takes over from Anne Dubé, who led the development of the artistic programming for the last three years and played a central role in strengthening the Theatre. In welcoming Rodrigue to the theatre, Theatre Board chair Jean-Claude Mahé also thanked Dubé profusely for her valuable contributions to the organization.
Rodrigue lauded the theatre’s “rich cultural and artistic heritage”, and says his priority is to continue to strengthen the organization and its artistic reputation. Rodrigue has deep roots in the Quebec culture industry and holds a masters’ degree in cultural business management from Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) Montréal.
