Rob Paterson
With a career spanning 28 years, Peter McKelvie brings a wealth of experience to the role of Principal of Knowlton Academy. With a background as an English and Physical Education teacher, and former teacher union representative to the English Montreal School Board, he has a deep understanding of teacher/board issues.
His diverse experience includes roles at schools such as Roslyn Elementary, which mirrors Knowlton’s socially diverse student base, and more recently as Vice-Principal at Willingdon Elementary.
McKelvie has a strong connection to the Townships, having lived in Dunham for a decade and with family roots in the area. He is a married father of four grown children.
