After being closed all summer, the CLSC Lac-Brome is to offer services two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday at the Centre Lac-Brome, starting October 15.
Mayor Richard Burcombe made the announcement during the regular meeting of the Municipal Council. Before its summer closure, the CLSC was open four days a week, from Monday to Thursday.
The mayor praised the efforts of Councillor Lee Patterson on this issue. “He acted as a concerned citizen and circulated a petition that received over 1,300 signatures,” the mayor said.
At the time of writing, in early October, the Town still did not know how reception services for the CLSC would be organized at the CLB. It should be noted that the CIUSSS de l’Estrie decided to end the agreement that allowed the CLB receptionist – a VLB employee – to devote a few hours of her time to registering CLSC users. It is a formula that has always worked well.
It is now possible to make an appointment
