Election Day – Sunday, November 2
(between 10am and 8pm)
Election day will be held in 1,100 municipalities across Quebec, where 8,000 elective positions are up for election.
Dates to Remember
- September 19 – October 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Candidates – mayors and councillors – who wish to run must register officially with the electoral president of their municipality. - By September 19
Check receipt by mail of your notice on the days and places of voting. - October 3
Proclamation of candidates elected without opposition. - Week of October 7
Check receipt by mail of your notice of registration on the electoral list. - October 16, 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.and October 21, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
At the CLB: revision of the electoral list in Brome Lake. - October 26, from noon to 8 p.m.
Advance polls (see if your municipality offers other days). - October 31, 4:30 p.m.
Last day to return the postal ballot.
Vote by Mail
- Residents of retirement homes and CHSLDs.
- People prevented from traveling for health reasons and their caregivers.
- Other exceptions may apply. Check with your election officer.
