Exceeds Canadian average

Pickleball in Town of Brome Lake is growing in popularity. This year, membership in the Brome Lake Pickleball Club (CPLB) rose from 375 in 2025 to over 500. This increase (35%) exceeds the growth rates in Quebec and the rest of Canada. The increase in Canada is 14% (1.8 million in 2026) and in Quebec it is 13.7% (432,000 in 2026).
About the Club
CPLB is a non-profit sports organization founded in 2017. Its mission is to promote pickleball in the community for the well-being and enjoyment of all players.
This summer, the Club is organizing several activities for its members, including training sessions and workshops for different skill levels, a men’s league, women’s leagues (including the Pickle Sisters), two ladder leagues and themed time slots. Activities take place during time slots reserved for the Club, primarily at Lions Park.
In addition, Jean-Luc Ledoux and Jacques Boisvert, two club members, will volunteer to offer introductory sessions to the children at Les Salamandres Day Camp. Club members have donated racquets for these sessions.
Pickleball Courts in the Brome Lake Area
There are 14 courts available in the Brome Lake area:
Lions Park
Six courts (three of them new), evening lighting, permanent nets available by the end of June. A big thank you to the town of Lac-Brome for developing these new courts, which residents have been eagerly awaiting.
Club de la Bonne Humeur (5 Mill St, Knowlton)
Four courts, evening lighting, for CBH members; nets are available for installation.
Foster (25 Taylor St.)
Four courts, for CPLB members; nets are available for installation.
