All members of West Bolton Council were present at the June 8 meeting except Nancy Lanteigne. Six residents were present in person or by Zoom.
Financial Report
The auditor presented the municipal financial report for 2025. Details will be posted on the West Bolton municipal website.
Council Business
Minutes of the May 11, 2026 council meeting was approved with a couple of minor corrections.
Council approved accounts payable of $350,000 and $37,000 for salaries.
Building Permits and By-laws
The town issued seven building permits with a total value of $814,000.
A notice of motion was given to clarify conditions and ensure conformity with regulations on several by-laws.
Staffing
Normand Blouin was hired as a part-time road maintenance employee for the summer season.
The council meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m., establishing a new record for meeting efficiency.
