To celebrate West Bolton’s 150 years as an independent municipality, a committee of town councillors and citizens is putting together a big party, and all West Bolton residents are invited.
A Free Community Celebration
Thanks to the town and to local sponsors, the event is free, including barbecue, corn on the cob, salads and cake, to be washed down with water, soda, juice and coffee.
There will be a kid zone with an inflatable slide, games and painting activities. Work is underway on a time capsule, along with plenty of additional adult activities.
An historical exhibition will honour founding families, courtesy of Kelly and Lindsey Hume.
Event Details
Parking will be provided. Dogs will not be able to attend.
The event will take place on community land behind the town hall, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Once all the activities have been finalized, residents will receive a flyer with all the details.
