The village of Brome is building a new town hall, expected to be ready by summer 2027, says mayor Bill Miller.

Renting versus owning
After debating for 5 years the merits of renting versus owning, the council decided to stop renting and build when a government grant of $1.8 million became available.
The council reasoned that while a total cost of $2.3 million seems a lot for a village of 341 residents, the new building will provide space for both offices and council meetings for generations to come.
The new town hall will be situated at the intersection of Stagecoach and Brome Valley roads.
