Food banks in the area got a bounce from pickleball clubs this year thanks to a fund-raiser tournament that brought together 192 players from clubs in Brome Lake, Waterloo and Bromont. Together they raised $2500. The Brome Lake Pickleball Club gave the town food bank a cheque for $750 plus $165 in cash.
