We all love a happy ending and this heartwarming story from our community has one. Paul Côté, of Brome Bird Care, was wondering what to do with the prize-winning birdhouse decorated Christmas tree that had been parked outside the company’s premises.

This stunning tree was the product of a team effort, led by Claudette Lessard, for the company’s Christmas parade float.

The idea recently came to Côté to give the special Christmas tree to the Knowlton Academy garden and greenhouse project. Then it was just a question of figuring out a way to transport the awkward structure to the school and ensuring that no birds were disturbed in the process.

The students are thrilled and look forward to giving the birdhouses a fresh coat of paint whenever activity in the garden resumes. As you can see the tree looks right at home in the garden.
