Safety on Trestle Cove path

I am writing about family concerns for safety on the Trestle Cove Walking Path – particularly concerning bicycles.

As frequent users of the path, both on bike and foot, we notice “close calls” between some fast moving bicycles and pedestrians of all ages and dogs… sometimes off leash!

Below, is a light-hearted message which attempts to draw attention to this problem and some possible amelioration.

Path Safety

Please … on the path

when on your bike

Pass everyone
The way they like!

… nice and slow – with bell!

… or shout “Bonjour” to tell,

… and teach the young or slow

… to help us all, and
smooth the flow.
