Michel and his beloved Sylvie fell in love with the Brome Lake area and decided to move here in 2002.

He passed away surrounded by his family on September 1st.

Michel enjoyed a very successful career working as a consultant, recruiting managerial staff for numerous towns and municipalities.

Michel was without a doubt a passionate person! He adored hunting and handiwork, and always had a project on the go. But it was in “his” music that he found sanctuary and self- fulfilment.

He loved to share this passion and to give musical performances, intending to soothe people’s hearts! No one could remain unmoved in the face of his magnanimity.

Enthusiastic and gifted with an organizer’s skills, five years ago Michel decided to revive the “La Fête national du Québec” in TBL. Everyone he approached agreed to be part of this venture. Very modest, Michel shunned the spotlight, preferring to shine the light on the volunteers and participants. He did it all for our community, focussing his efforts so the largest number would be included in the event.

He sat on various citizens committees to develop many projects. He was a pioneer in organizing the first “Holiday Fundraiser” of Dr. Julien to benefit the Centre de pédiatrie sociale en communauté Main dans la Main of Brome – Missisquoi and continued to be involved in its fundraising activities.

He will be sorely missed.
