She literally fell in love with the space, previously occupied by Bishop’s University, and decided to settle down in Brome Lake last December. Ma Ani, her artist’s name, used to be a teacher but, in 2016 she decided devote her time to the composition of large acrylic paintings. She had exhibitions in Amos and Rouyn in her native Abitibi. Other projects await her, including the official opening of her gallery at 99 Knowlton Road.
