November 30, 1960 – October 17, 2020
Nick was very familiar with the area since his family had been to their country home in the Glen since his early childhood, as their main residence was in Montreal.
Nick moved to Toronto for work in the early 1980s. However, his heart was in the Glen. When his mother became ill, he returned more frequently to help his father take care of her. When she passed away, and his father became ill, he decided to stay permanently to be his father’s caregiver until his father also passed away.
Because of Nick’s caring and outgoing personality, it was easy for him to renew old acquaintances and make new friends. He became an active part of the community with the volunteer work he did. Nick liked to share his deep appreciation of music and enjoyed making CD’s to give to friends. He would also very often help others with various chores, errands and tasks, always with a smile and thoughtful words.
Thank you Nick for being part of our lives. You will be missed and not forgotten.
