Paddle the shoreline of Brome Lake

Join Renaissance Brome Lake’s directors on Saturday, September 4, to paddle the shoreline of Lake Brome. Enjoy a day on the water with others in the community who love to paddle our lake. 

Beginning at Douglass Beach at 7 a.m., the complete circuit is 19 kilometres and should take 5 hours. Staying 10-20 m from shore, paddlers can join the group at focal points around the lake:

▶ ︎Ruisseau Argyll: 7:45 a.m.
▶ ︎400 Lakeside: 8 a.m.
▶ ︎Tiffany Park: 8:15 a.m.
▶ ︎Ruisseau Quilliams (Hotel Suites Lac-Brome) 8:30 a.m.
▶ ︎Camping Domaine des Érables 9 a.m.
▶ ︎Baie Rock Island Bay, (end of Rock Island Bay) 9:30 a.m.
▶ ︎Domaine Brome: 9:40 a.m. – 9:50 a.m.
▶ ︎Inverness Condos:10 a.m.
▶ ︎Bondville (Rue Montagne): 10:15 a.m.
▶ ︎Ruisseau Pearson: 10:30 a.m.
▶ ︎Ruisseau Coldbrook: 10:45 a.m.
▶ ︎Knowlton Marina: 11 a.m. 

Returning to Douglass Beach around 12 noon. Bring a good supply of water, snacks, and sun protection as well as your picnic. Bring a mask, social distancing rules will fe followed. Paddlers can join the group and paddle the shoreline nearest their homes. For those who begin along the shore and finish at Douglass Beach, Renaissance Brome Lake (RBL) will transport members and their watercraft back to their point of origin. Your safety is your responsibility. Wear a life jacket whenever you are on the water.
