It may not be “business as usual,” but Pettes is definitely open. Health advisories prevent the use of the computers and the reading room, but members are welcome, one person or family “pod” at a time, to browse and borrow. There’s lots new on the shelves, and the online catalogue makes it easier than ever to access lists of the latest additions. The expansion project announced in January is also ongoing.

While COVID-19 has caused delays, the board of trustees has been using the time to refine its plans and pursue funding opportunities. For day-to-day operating costs, the Library recently mailed out its annual fundraising letter. Thanks to everyone who contributes!

Library hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please check pettes.ca if our pandemic zoning changes.
