Dans le numéro de mars 2026 de Tempo, un article consacré au cimetière DuBoyce à Bolton-Ouest affirmait que le recensement de 1850 faisait état de 2 000 habitants à Bolton-Ouest. En réalité, ce sont près de 2 000 personnes qui vivaient alors dans le canton de Bolton, qui comprenait Bolton-Est et un territoire s’étendant jusqu’à Eastman et la rive ouest du lac Memphrémagog. In the March 2026 issue of Tempo, an article on the DuBoyce Cemetary in West Bolton said that the 1850 census had 2000 people living in West Bolton. In fact, there were about 2000 people who lived in all of the Bolton Township, which at the time included East Bolton and territory that stretched to Eastman and the western shore of Lake Memphremagog. When the Township was divided in 1876 and West Bolton carved out, there were about 700 people living in what is today West Bolton. Tempo regrets the error.
