The Brome Missisquoi Perkins Hospital Foundation annual brunch will be held May 17 at Auberge West Brome. The fund-raiser brunch began in 1988 when the late George Bristol, a town counsellor from West Brome, organized a spaghetti dinner as a fund raiser. Since then the brunch has evolved. An estimated 300 people will indulge in a delicious banquet. Two seatings are planned at 10:30 and 1:30. Tickets are available at the BMP Foundation website for $80.
Impact and Objectives
In 2025, the brunch raised a record $46,000. Specifically the funds raised this year will be invested in vital signs monitors, both those mounted on walls and mobile ones for specialized clinics and day medicine rooms.
Francis Laramée, executive director of the Foundation said “The BMP brunch reflects the strength of a community committed to its hospital. The funds raised translate directly into equipment and initiatives that improve patient care.”
