Pettes Library is holding a week of activities to honour a child’s right to play. In its third iteration, the United Nations initiative aims to uphold the importance of play for all children, especially those in conflict zones and impoverished areas.

Aligning with the creative impulse found in books, the library is promoting play for children and adults all week long from June 8 to 12. Recognizing this generation’s reduced opportunity for unstructured play, the library is offering activities for families and the young at heart.
Come work on your learning, resilience, and wellbeing through play!
