The white-tailed deer hunting season timetable for
Zone 5 is as follows:
1, Crossbow and bow September 30 – October 13

2, Shotguns, muzzle loading firearms, crossbow and bow October 14 – October 18 

3, Rifle (+crossbow) November 11 – November 26

It is always a good precaution to wear orange or brightly coloured clothing when walking in the woods, especially during hunting season.
