Discussions regarding the proposed construction of a permanent structure to house Aviron Knowlton Rowing’s equipment are scheduled to resume at the March council meeting. A public consultation explaining this proposal was held on January 28.
The town is in the process of updating boat washing policies and fees, which will be applicable to all watercraft, including non-motorized units. The draft policy will be available on the town’s website. The town welcomes feedback, questions, or concerns.
With respect to a question raised by a citizen regarding manganese and iron levels in the water supply, the town advised that it collaborates closely with the relevant authorities at the provincial and federal levels and respects the established government guidelines.
The town’s 2025-29 Family & Seniors Policy has been finalized. English and French versions of the document will be published on the town’s website soon.
