A major expansion of its broadcast range now allows local radio station CIDI 99.1 to reach audiences as far as Bedford, Farnham, Granby, and Orford. It means a huge swath of English-speaking and bilingual townshippers can tune into a lively and diverse listening menu.

The volunteer-run station offers programming that includes music, daily news and upcoming community events, interviews from the area.
The Station Manager, Angela Jetté, encourages members of the community to come in and meet the team. CIDI 99.1 is open to volunteers who want to have their own show and it offers studio time, including technical support, to those who want to get their message out. Local musicians, writers and spoken word artists are all welcome.
Taylor McClure is the station’s first full time journalist as part of the Local Journalism Initiative. She brings the latest local news and pertinent stories to listeners.
A fundraiser event for the station is planned for June 17 at the Thirsty Boot. Special musical guests will be announced soon. Tune your FM dial to 99.1.
